Dialling Codes Numeric is a Claris Works document. It is a numerically sorted list of the U.K's area codes enabling you to discover exactly where in the U.K the area code you are interested in is from. This document has different uses for different people, most people seem to find it of most use when scanning the small ads and would like to discover where the vendor is based, I have even sold copies to a private investigation agency, Taxi cab companies, etc. I have created it as a Claris Works spreadsheet file as everyone seems to have Claris Works. To use simply ensure that the upper left hand cell box is highlighted and then go to the "find" button in the "edit" menu and enter the number you wish to locate ommiting the 01 prefix. The trial version only contains roughly half of the full versions codes. The full version also contains a seperate document detailing the 0181 London local area codes. If you would like the full version perhaps you would be so kind as to send me a cheque for £9.99, upon receipt of which I will send you the full Dialling Codes document on floppy disc or alternatively for an extra quid a bound printed version of the document. This seems a small price to pay bearing in mind the mind numbing boredom I went through entering over five thousand area codes over a period of seven months.
